In spite of unseasonal winter weather, our Ministry Forum with Dr. Timothy Lane exceeded expectations both in attendance and in content. About 100 pastors and ministry leaders enjoyed a full morning of three engaging lectures on counseling and the local church. Dr. Lane focused on the importance of biblical counseling in the local church and the essential ingredients of true biblical change, which should characterize both our own lives as well as our approach in counseling others. He supplemented his lectures with ample time for questions and answers. Not only were the questions thought-provoking but his responses were insightful. Of course, the icing on the cake was a delightful lunch.
