Calvary's Board of Trustees voted on May 16 to formalize the work of development at CBTS by establishing an Office of Institutional Advancement. The office will provide significant assistance to President Sam Harbin and the Board of Trustees as they seek to secure funding for the seminary's ongoing mission and future vision. Mr. Kurt Haufler, Director of Institutional Advancement
"Since I truly committed my life to the Lord in 1992, I have had a strong passion to help others know the Gospel. I look forward with great anticipation to working with Calvary's ministry partners to get behind our next challenge: sending forth 100 church planters for worldwide impact with the Gospel of Jesus Christ." Mr. Nick Yzzi, Director of Planned Giving
"I am excited about the future of the seminary's ministry and particularly about working with its supporters and alumni to strengthen and expand the financial base so that students can continue to be trained for the Gospel ministry." |

"I am delighted to join the team at the seminary as Director of Institutional Advancement and will look forward to meeting many of you personally! My wife, Kimberlee, and I are blessed with three beautiful children and reside in Gwynedd Valley, PA. We have been members at Calvary Baptist Church of Lansdale since 1993, and I have served on the seminary Board of Trustees since 2003. For the past two years, I have served as the Facilities Director at Calvary Baptist Church.
"I have been with the ministry of Calvary Baptist Church since 1988 as the Financial Administrator. Last year, I joined the CBTS team to work with Ron Clark in the Summit Center, consulting with other churches and pastors, and I will now be taking some of that time to work with Sam Harbin and Kurt Haufler in the area of development, specifically in planned giving.
