Calvary awards 27 degrees in May 2009 graduation Print E-mail

2009 CBTS graduatesCalvary held its 30th commencement May 16, graduating 27 students, including 15 Master of Divinity students. The commencement address was delivered by Dr. Charles McLain, Chair of Old Testament and Director of Assessment at Calvary. Dr. McLain, celebrating twenty-five years of service at the seminary, brought an address based on key Bible passages God has used throughout his ministry.

Nine students received the Master of Arts (Theological Studies) degree, two received the Master of Arts in Christian Ministry, 15 received the Master of Divinity, and one received the Master of Theology. Each student provided a testimony of God's blessing and provision for their salvation and training and a brief description of how He has been at work in each student's life.
