Teen Ministries
" And these words, which I command thee this day, shall
be in thine heart; and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy
children. . ."
Deuteronomy 6:6-7a
Teen Youth Ministry Mission
Statement
We exist to glorify God by training young people to be disciples
of Christ and by teaching them to pattern their lives after
Christ. We want teenagers to come to the realization that true
meaning in life is found in a relationship-to Jesus Christ.
Christ can be known and wants to be known. He alone will fill
the emptiness that is evident in teen culture today.
Teen Youth Ministry Program
-
Teen Sunday School: 9:15-10:10
on Sunday Mornings
These classes are set up in a small group format that allows for interaction
between teacher and teen. Teaching is done by a concerned youth staff and
is geared toward issues that affect teens and topics that are necessary for
their spiritual development.
-
Teen Youth Chapel: 7:00-8:30 on Wednesday Nights
An ongoing trivia contest opens the evening, followed by singing, sharing of
testimony, then a small group prayer and discussion time, and finally a Bible-based
preaching time that is designed to hit teens on their level. This is a combined
7th-12th grade youth meeting-it is the time we meet together every week as
a group.

Monthly Activities and
Special Events
Separate Jr. High and Sr. High events as well as all-teen activities highlight
our monthly calendar. Skiing, mountain climbing, rollerskating, tubing, bowling,
miniature golf, ice skating, and a whole lot more of other fun-filled events
are available each month throughout the year.
Other annual events in our youth group include overseas and
home Mission Trips, week-long summer camps and winter retreats
at Camp Calvary, and community service events.
COME JOIN US-WE WANT YOU TO BE PART OF THESE LIFE-CHANGING OPPORTUNITIES!!
All of our activities and events are designed to either ATTRACT teens so they will meet Christ, ASSIMILATE teens so they have
the opportunity to follow Christ, ASSIST teens to grow in Christ,
and ACTIVATE teens in service for Christ.
